My Doula Journey
In 2020 (of course 2020, right?) I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Ovarian Cysts when I felt a cyst rupture in my left ovary. I spent months researching, and trying different things to see what would work with my body. I met with a lot of doctors and had to learn how to advocate for myself: testing, medications, etc. When I became pregnant for the first time, I had a doula who helped me. I experienced postpartum depression and anxiety. After that fog lifted, I found myself helping other women going through similar things, and felt called to become a birth doula.
Fast forward to 2026, I have an amazing husband, son, daughter, (and spunky sausage dog) and feel blessed beyond measure. The good times didn’t come without the bad times. Luckily, I was fortunate to have a doula alongside my friends and family to support me. Now I want to share that same feeling with people!
I was trained under Tara Campbell, one of the most recognized doulas in the Boston area where I became certified back in 2023, and have experience at some of the top hospitals in the country. I am certified through DONA. I am serving the Northern Colorado area, and affiliated with HCA HealthONE Rose Hospital.
